According to the study medical errors have now become the third leading cause of death. This has become so dangerous that they are now asking the centers for disease control prevention to list medical errors in its annual list of top causes of death. According to the study, over 250,000 Americans die each year from medical errors. That would mean that medical errors would be right behind heart disease and cancer in the list of leading causes of death. This analysis was published in the British Medical Journal recently.
