We are surprised when the other driver in a car wreck doesn’t have insurance, but it happens more often than you would think. In fact, surveys show about 13% of all drivers do not have insurance on their car. You have more than one out ten chances of being hurt by an uninsured driver. What do you do? The short answer is your insurance policy has a paragraph that says you can make a claim against your own company if the other driver is uninsured.
