Cindy Patton, lawyer and Senior Partner in our law firm, Patton and Patton Chartered spoke today as the Chairperson of the Topeka City of Character at the Picture of Character annual awards lunch honoring Topeka area businesses of character. The City of Character celebrated its 17th year in Topeka promoting good character in the community. Other speakers included Tomari Quinn, of the Topeka Capital Journal, Brett Ballard the new Washburn University Men’s Basketball coach, and Barry Feaker, director of the Topeka Rescue Mission.
Sprout Communications, Stevenson Company, Advisor’s Excel, and Harvesters all received Business of Character awards. Barry Feaker received the first “Barry Feaker Portrait of Character” award in recognition of exhibiting exemplary actions of character development, through community leadership, initiative, and engagement, by holding high standards of integrity and accountability.
